Learn to play keyboard, or brush up on your skills, with one-to-one keyboard lessons at Lamp House Music.

Initially, piano and keyboard are taught the same way, learning to play with the right hand first.  At a later stage, when the left hand is introduced, this is when the differences start – for keyboard, the left hand will be playing chords only.

We have a number of fantastic keyboard tutors, all of whom are professionally qualified, enthusiastic and patient teachers who will bring out the best in you!

Lessons are tailored to the individual, taking into consideration each person’s ability, goals and musical tastes.

Our tutors are also happy to support any pupil learning keyboard as part of studying music qualifications at school (National 4, National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher), or for external gradings (such as ABRSM or Trinity).

Keyboard is taught in weekly 30-minute lessons, at a cost of £21.00 per week, paid in terms (approx 8 weeks).

For children we would recommend a minimum age of 8 years.
