Lamp House Music opens its doors!
New music facility, Lamp House Music, based in Haddington, invites members of the public to visit its brand new and just completed premises this Saturday (28th April).
The Open Doors Day will run from 11am until 4pm and give people the opportunity to have a look inside at the conversions that have taken place to the former railway building.
The rooms were opened to bands and musicians last week for rehearsals, and music lessons are soon to start in the three room premises.
Spokesperson Callum Maguire says,
“There has been such a transformation in the last few weeks with walls knocked down and put back in, new ceilings, windows and doors, and oodles of painting – but The Lamp House is now looking fantastic. The rehearsal rooms are kitted out in their brand new gear – quality equipment that musicians will really appreciate, and our lessons kick off on 12th May with our Saturday Morning Guitar Club.
We’re really looking forward to having people visit Lamp House Music on Saturday to appreciate the quality of what we have to offer. Anyone is welcome to come in and have a look around, bands can join up and book in and we’ll have a couple of musicians playing so if anyone fancies a jam we’d encourage them to bring their instrument along.”
