Summer Term got underway this week at Lamp House Music!

Classes started back on Tuesday and we are on a straight run now through to (and including) Friday 4th July!

There are a few bank holidays, but due to popular demand, and reviews of previous years, we will still be holding lessons on the school days off in May (5th, 6th & 19th) so please come along!

As well as all the music lessons that we will be hosting, we are looking forward to providing a Music School for Knox Academy, Haddington for their Activity Week at the end of May.  Bandjam will also be back next week, and as the first term was so successful, we’ve added a second session in order to accommodate all our eager young musicians!

June will be a particularly busy month – with our second Lamp House Music Summer Concert on Sunday 29th June 2014 at 1pm in the Corn Exchange, Haddington.  PLUS we have a very special event on Friday 27th June 2014 – keep the night free, as you will not want to miss this!  More details to follow!…

Preparations are underway for the school summer holidays, with some great activities lined up and three free ‘Music Schools For All’  – more information about these will be on the website very soon.

Whatever you are doing over the Summer months, we hope you will involve music – it makes all the difference in life! And if you’re close enough – involve Lamp House Music too!: Come to lessons, learn an instrument, bring your band to rehearse in our fantastic rehearsal rooms, enjoy a pop party, be in the audience of our Summer Concert, come along to our fantastic (secret) event!… There are so many ways to get involved – all of them fun, fulfilling and incredibly uplifting – we’ll help you make the sun shine on even the dullest of days!
