‘The Voice UK’ comes to Haddington
The ITV programme ‘The Voice UK’ have enlisted the help of Lamp House Music – in their early stages of casting for ‘The Voice UK 2020’. Over the coming weeks, The Voice UK are travelling around the country scouting for singers and musicians and – recognising their access to the rich wealth of musical talent in East Lothian – approached Lamp House Music to help them in their search.
The Voice UK are on the search for solo singers, duos or even trios, and are attending Open Mic Nights across Britain as well as specially arranged auditions.
For first auditions, participants need to prepare one or two songs with a backing track or musical instrument, for an audition lasting no longer than ten minutes.
All types of musical genres are welcome, participants must be age 16 by 1st October 2019.
Roz Maguire of Lamp House Music said, “We come across so many talented vocalists and musicians through Lamp House Music that we are happy to be helping The Voice UK in their search. It’s a lengthy audition process – but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that someone local will make it all the way through to the actual TV show. Sadly, I don’t think Tom Jones will be joining us at this stage!”
