Lamp House Music are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Part-time Admin Assistant to join their small, friendly and busy team.

A polite and confident individual is required in order to maintain our high standard of customer service.  You will deal with new and existing customers largely over email, but also on the phone and in person.  We therefore require that you are eager to please, have excellent communication skills, and in particular good writing skills.

We are looking for someone who has experience of Word and Excel, and has an attention to detail.  You will record information, and deal with repetitive jobs, accurately and in a timely manner.

Acting as a liaison between our team of tutors and pupils, you will assist in coordinating term timetables, projects and music schools.  You will also take on a leading role in the coordination of our annual Summer Concert.

Reporting to our Office Manager you should be reliable and confident enough to work independently (after training) as you will be expected to regularly run the office in the manager’s absence, using your own initiative.

Other requirements – responsible, honest, discreet and an excellent time-keeper.  Money-handling experience preferable, as is an interest in music.

Hours: 14 hours per week, over 3 days (Mon-Fri), to be arranged.

Annual leave: 78.5 hours per year, to coincide with Lamp House Music closures throughout the year (usually during school holidays).

Wage: £7.83 per hour
