Eleftheria Vogiatzaki, MSc, BA, began her journey in music at the age of 5, studying piano and music theory. She pursued her passion in music studies at the University of Macedonia, in Thessaloniki, earning a BA first class Degree in Music Science and Art. Eleftheria enriched her knowledge of Music Harmony and Counterpoint and was awarded a Degree from the Conservatory of Filippos Nakas in Patras.

Driven by her interest in music as a tool for communication and expression, Eleftheria received a scholarship from the University of Edinburgh and came to Scotland in 2006 to further continue with her studies. Eleftheria completed her MSc in Music in the Community, specialising in the transformative power of music.

Since her graduation from the University of Edinburgh, she now has over 15 years of teaching experience in Scottish Schools as a Music Teacher, including Early Years Settings, Primary and Secondary Schools as well as Special Education.

Eleftheria is inspired by the Kodaly method and is a qualified Early Years Kodaly Teacher. Currently she also works for NYCOS as a Kodaly Musicianship Teacher for the Midlothian Junior, intermediate and Senior Choirs.
