Ethan

Ethan is a professional drummer and music graduate based in Edinburgh. He recently completed his BMus (Music) degree at the University of Edinburgh, where he developed a strong foundation across jazz, classical and contemporary styles.

With over 12 years of playing experience, Ethan has performed in a wide range of settings including function gigs, musical theatre productions, jazz residencies and live band projects . He was selected as drummer for the Edinburgh University Jazz Orchestra, performing at leading venues and collaborating with a diverse range of musicians.

Ethan delivers supportive, student-led lessons tailored to each individual’s goals — whether that’s building solid technique, exploring different styles, preparing for exams or simply playing for fun. Friendly and encouraging, he is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of music.
