Lamp House Music is a well-established music school, playing a central role in the music education of both adults and children in the East Lothian area.
We strive to provide our pupils with consistent, quality lessons on a weekly basis with follow up notes to use at home for practise. At 200 pupils, Lamp House Music is thriving and is fully committed to providing performance opportunities as well as full support for pupils taking school music exams and grade exams. We also hold two holiday camps throughout the year.
What We Offer

QUALIFICATIONS

Completed or studying a Degree in Music Performance or Teaching

Minimum grade 8 in principal study

TEAM
- Work alongside a great team of self-employed tutors, in a variety of instruments, expand your network and get your pupils working together.
- We provide band sessions, string ensemble and choir sessions.
TRAINING AND SUPPORT
We can provide full support in building up a good relationship with your pupils and their parents. This leads to great progress in lessons and years of pupil commitment to their instrument.
ADMINISTRATION
Our music tutors have access to our music lesson management software to keep track of lesson timings and upload notes. We also have a full administrative service at Lamp House to provide our tutors with more freedom to concentrate on teaching.
