Musical Instrument Loan Agreement

Eligibility

  • Borrowers must read, agree to and submit the Musical Instrument Loan Agreement.
  • The Musical Instrument Loan Agreement must be read and submitted each time an instrument is borrowed.
  • Under no circumstances will a Borrower be allowed to borrow an instrument on behalf of another person.
  • The individual borrowing any musical instrument takes full responsibility for the instrument and is held personally responsible for any damage, loss or destruction of the equipment while it is in their possession.

Loan Period

  • Musical instruments can be borrowed from Lamp House Music with prior consent of the Owners of Lamp House Music.
  • Musical Instruments borrowed should be returned during regular opening hours at the time agreed by the Owners and the Borrower.

Damages

  • The working condition of the musical instrument will be assessed before checkout and upon its return.
  • The Borrower is responsible for damage to and/or loss or theft of loaned units.
  • The Borrower is required to report any problems experienced with the musical instrument during their borrowing period.
  • The replacement cost for a lost, stolen or damaged instrument will be at its actual fee. A fee will also be charged for a lost case. Damage charges will be assessed based on the actual repair costs.
  • If an instrument is 3 days overdue, it is considered lost or stolen and the Borrower will be charged for its replacement.
