Rachel N

Originally from Glasgow, Rachel moved to Edinburgh to pursue drumming by studying at Edinburgh Napier University where she attained a First-Class Honours degree in Popular Music. Rooted in a musical upbringing within the church, she blends a diverse range of influences and style into her distinctive playing.

Rachel has played in renowned venues such as The Three Sisters, Stramash, Home Bar, Box Glasgow, Assembly Roxy, and the prestigious Usher Hall.

Currently, Rachel deputises for different function bands and is very involved in musical theatre. Musical productions she has been in the band for include The Addams Family, Les Miserables, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Nativity! The Musical, DIVAS: From Stage to Screen and more.

Having taught previously, Rachel is committed to shaping each lesson for individual pupils and encouraging them in the areas they want to pursue. At most, she wants her pupils to enjoy drumming!
